UniNorms
After me creating my very own webpage, and a blog, it finally struck me: I still had to update this site after completing my bachelorthesis!
I would really like to thank my supervisor dr R. Potharst
for not giving up on me after me getting very stuck on the mathematics providing the basis for the thesis.
Luckily for me, both he and dr. ir. U. Kaymak found my work quite interesting
and even a positive contribution to science and awarded my thesis with a grade of 8 out of 10.
Needless to say I am still pretty chuffed with that result.
My thesis
In my thesis I'm trying to verify the findings of prof. dr. K. Vanhoof which he published in a paper about a possible new approach to get management information about customer satisfaction from product-enquiries by using an uniform aggregation operator also know as an UniNorm.
By reproducing his work I'm trying to find out how he did it, and what possible modifications can be made to create an even more efficient algorithm.
The thesis is available under the link 'thesis' in the menu on the left.
